Rep. Wendy Fink was elected to serve the 94th Legislative District of York County in November 2022. She is a proud, lifelong resident of York County.
Wendy is new to politics, bringing fresh ideas and perspective while maintaining a strong conservative voice. Her focus as a lawmaker includes education reform, election integrity and being a citizen legislator like our founders intended. She believes government serves the people, not itself and has a specific, limited role to play in the lives of citizens. For the 2023-24 Legislative Session, she will serve on the House Children and Youth, Insurance, Local Government and State Government Committees.
Prior to her election to the state House, Wendy received a bachelor’s degree in elementary and early childhood education from Millersville University. She was a substitute teacher for two years at Red Lion and Dallastown school districts. She temporarily left teaching to be a stay-at-home mom for 16 years. After taking time to raise her children, she returned to teaching until 2020, when she took her kids out of public school and stayed home again, until taking up another teaching position at Grace Academy teaching fourth and fifth graders.
An active member of her community, Wendy also attends local school board and municipal meetings to keep up with what’s happening throughout the district. She is also involved in her church, where she has taught Sunday School for 20 years and volunteered to assist her church’s youth group. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she loves spending time with her family and reading.
Wendy and her husband, Jason, reside with three of their four children in Windsor Township.
