Fink Hits the Road to Talk School Property Tax Elimination, Host Municipal Town Halls

August 26, 2025

HARRISBURG – To spread the word about her proposal to eliminate school property taxes, Rep. Wendy Fink (R-Red Lion) is hitting the road to talk to Commonwealth residents locally and statewide. Additionally, she will be hosting a series of town halls in each municipality that comprises the 94th House District to focus on legislative updates and constituent services.

Fink’s local town hall focused on property tax elimination will be Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9-10:30 a.m. at Chapel Church of Red Lion, 3050 Cape Horn Road. A schedule of statewide town halls about property tax elimination is available at RepWendyFink.com/pteth. Sen. Dawn Keefer (R-31) and former Rep. Frank Ryan from Lebanon County will also be on hand to help answer questions and hear feedback at these events.

“The current rate at which school property taxes are increasing is unsustainable,” said Fink. “If this persists, Pennsylvanians will continue to lose their homes or choose to leave the state. The most recent demographic outlook shows a rapidly expanding retiree population whose growing costs fall on a shrinking working-age population. My legislation would ensure no single demographic group in this Commonwealth shoulders the entire burden of this tax elimination. I am looking forward to discussing this proposal with my constituents, as well as Pennsylvanians in other regions of our state.”

At Fink’s municipal town halls, residents of District 94 will receive a legislative update, as well as help with Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications, document shredding, unclaimed property searches and prescription drug disposal. The first of 12 town halls is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 17, from noon to 2 p.m. at Delta Senior Center, 5 Pendyrus St.

“Bridging the gap between Harrisburg and home is one of my top legislative priorities. I am looking forward to updating my constituents about the latest state-related news, while my dedicated staff facilitates free services for those seeking them,” Fink added.

Constituents may attend the municipal town halls at any location. Residency of the specific municipality is not required. For a full schedule of municipal town halls, please visit RepWendyFink.com/mth.
