HARRISBURG – State Rep. Seth Grove (R-York) is pleased to announce an Economic Summit to be held
Thursday, Sept. 14, from 1-4 p.m. at the Alumni Hall, York College of Pennsylvania, York.
Grove will be joined by Reps. Joe D’Orsie (R-York), Kate Klunk (R-York), Dawn Keefer (R-York), Wendy Fink (R-York), Mike Jones (R-York), and Carol Hill-Evans (D-York). Staff from the offices of State Sens. Kristin Phillips-Hill and Mike Regan will be in attendance as well.
Members of the public and press are invited to attend. Three separate panels will share their insights with the delegation about York County, Pennsylvania, and the nation’s economic conditions, as well as policies which can improve all three.
Panel 1:
The Local Economy: Building a SMART Village
General overview of York County’s local economy
Presenters: York County Economic Alliance (YCEA), REALTORS Association of York and Adams Counties, and the Manufacturers Association.
Panel 2:
The Current State of the National and State Economy
Presenters: Independent Fiscal Office (IFO) and American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).
Panel 3:
Better Results=Better Lives
What improvements/ legislative changes/ regulatory changes can be made that will be most impactful?
Presenters: PA Chamber of Business and Industry, Manufacturers Association and National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).
